as soon as I met C + T, I knew their story was going to be great. I had the pleasure of working with them to create a classic set of engagement photographs that really informed me of their style, low key sweetness and sincere love for one another. stories like theirs remind me that I am in exactly the right profession. so after our early summer engagement shoot, I knew that dodging the weekend's Chicago Marathon traffic for cooler, calmer South Loop light would be a perfect back drop. the entire day simply worked in our favor. Courtney's beautiful lace gown next to Tom's classic suit had the couple dressed in classic style and elegance for their fantastic party at Chicago Illuminating Company. start to finish, this day was an autumn dream of beautiful light and wonderful celebration.
