this weekend we saw Colleen & Jeff tie the knot in a small and private ceremony with their nearest and dearest at Chicago's own Public Hotel. once the hot spot for anyone whose anybody to drop in for a drink, the Pump Room sits quietly inside the remodeled hotel. with nods to Chicago's past, it's heavy hitters and entertainment favorites, there isn't a corner of this establishment that doesn't have a story or two. whilst both scouting and shooting for this wedding, we wonder if only these walls could talk!!! that said, we loved, loved, loved having this space to document this couples love and future together. the summer storm threw a curve ball or two in our direction but we managed to find the good pockets of great light in this awesome venue.

colleen & jeff, thank you so much for including us in your big day celebration. we are honored to have had the opportunity to photograph in such a historically charged space and can't wait to share all the timeless photographs with you and your families.
